Savanna von Saal is a beautiful 2-3 year old Shepherd mix. This special girl is going to be someone’s best friend. Her tender expressions will melt your heart. Savanna smiles naturally and those ears are too much -- think Sally Field in Flying Nun. But she is the real deal – softhearted, warm and gentle. Savana walks well on leash, keeping close to you as the city sounds seem to frighten her. She will let you know when it is too much, usually by lying down until she feels safe but, in no time, Savanna senses your calm and she’s ready to go. She meets dogs nicely and joins a pack walk with ease. And in playgroups Savanna is wonderful: she’s mellow and enjoys exploring, tho she does prefer calmer dogs. In fact, she shares a kennel run with another calm dog. Her relationship with you is important and she absolutely loves attention and affection, she just might start off shy. Just give her a little time to flourish, Savanna promises she is worth it. So when we say you will find a best friend in Savanna, we mean it.
